The last couple of years a part of the digital team at Belgian financial daily De Tijd has been developing digital formats with a strong focus on data driven journalism. The stories are the product of many years of internal development with a small team. It’s still not common compared to other types of media, and we still have a lot to learn, so sharing our approach seems to be the sensible thing to do. This is the first time we publish an article on our process.
